Default The UPS Man Cometh.....THANKS JCL!

Just wanted to drop a nice note for JCL (Jim) from the forum here. I just ordered a set of his Spiral Turbo Baffles, they arrived today just when he said they would, packaging was almost indestructible, and they look awesome! I just know they are going to sound good in the old sidepipes. When I get everything back together I'll get you a sound file and write something up for you. Thanks again Jim!

Also got a delivery from JEGS and finally one from Ecklers which was delayed because FEDEX said they couldn't find my house...kind of funny because the FEDEX guy lives 2 doors down and the local terminal is about 1/2 mile away, D'oh!

If it wasn't for the bread crumbs you toss on the ground every time you leave home and the long piece of string tied to your wrist, you'd never find your house either. :jester

Does JCL make sidepipes or just baffles or what?

I was sooooo sure the UPS guy was goung to deliver my JCL pipes today :( . He dropped off the TKO yesterday, and a package from Zip today (supporting our forum vendors ;) ), so he'll probably be back again tomorrow with the pipes. My new crossmember is suppose to arrive on Tuesday, he may start claiming to be part owner of my vette now too  !

Those UPS guys are incredibly strong. Just think how many Vettes they have lifted! (Piece by piece!) :jester

Chuck

p.s. Some of you guys may remember the movie "Music Man". Well, I think of the song, "The Wells Fargo Wagon Is a comin round the corner, I hope it'l be for me..." everytime I see one of those trucks pull up the street while I'm working in the garage! YEAH!

The UPS guy doesn't seem to mind delivering the parts when I happen to be in the garage working on the Vette, always seems interested in what I'm up to, and I always make sure to thank him for bringing goodies. No doubt he has delivered most of my car as well. I sure have plenty to do after today.
