New Virtual C3 Game
OK, I was really gung-ho about this project a few weeks ago and jammed on it to get it done ASAP cause the idea sounded so cool. I finished most of the basics of the game, but now I just need help collecting parts and prices. The game is also built to support pictures which I haven't got around to collecting. And a few of the links aren't hooked up completely yet (like the "share your c3 with friends to earn more money" feature) :)
I didn't want to "release" it unfinished, but my enthusiasm has waned a bit mostly because I don't know what parts should be listed for "sale" in certain areas. So if you think its cool and you'd like to contribute to the project, I am accepting submissions for parts lists. :) Also images to go along with parts if you have them.
And it could probably be one of those projects thats never finished, like our Vettes - so any other suggestions you have would be most appreciated. Oh, and I have no desire to make any $ with this site or anything, just a fun thing to kill some time and have some fun.
And no making fun of my web design skills. I enjoy ASP and SQL programming, but have little interest in graphic design. :)
thanks

Just a few questions though:
Does it just have nothing in it? No engine, tranny, seats, etc?
Do I need to buy a top for my 'vert?
Should I assume everything is stock?
Edit: Was just thinking, how 'bout more specs on the stuff for sale. Cause I bought the GM LS6 and i'm assuming it's the '02 ZO6 engine, but i'm not really sure.

A 500hp 427sbc for $9000 would be a cool option. For exhaust, Headers w/ sidepipes, or dual exhaust with performance mufflers. How about a TKO 5spd or Tremec T56 6spd for $2000 would be a cool option also.
Great idea.
My original intention was to make something similar to the old game Street Rod. If you've never played that (or Street Rod 2) before, check them out (and download) here: http://www.classic-trash.com/gameinfo.php?id=498 Should work OK on all PCs, but the graphics are pretty bad, relative to todays standards. But its an ULTIMATE classic, sure to please anyone into fixing up AND RACING cars.
enjoy
