rebuilt the front end of my 81. had everything lined up at chev dealer. if you let go of the wheel it will slightly wander to the left. jacked up front today to check steering control valve. when running the wheels stay straight. only thing that i did discover was that the power steering turns easier to the right than it does to the left. could this be my problem and what is it!!!!!!!!! also i might mention that the car wandered to the left before front end rebuild. thanks, namvet

Do both wheels spin freely? either brake dragging? you might swap front tires side to side, if it pulls opposite its a defect tire <radial puller>

More than likely the valve still needs some adjustment. Turn the nut left a quarter of a turn. See what that does.

never did say anything to the dealer about it for it wasnt that bad. i can live with it. but in my way of thinking, i think it should not pull at all. i have never got into a steering control valve adjustment. i have a forum printout on how to do it. just havent tried it yet. was hoping it might be something minor.
