FLYWHEEL BOLTS.....they come in a kit.any speed shop or parts supplier will sell these. they are hi tensile. there is two types. some screw into a thread on the converter (mostly stock)and others use a nut and bolt with loc washer that bolt the two together and i still use loctite to be sure. you must get under there and see what type it is. they are a very fine thread . if you started your car without it bolted together you probably heard bit of a bang bang for a moment while the flexplate and converter where rubbing but as long as the converter was back far enough that it didnt snag the flexplate/flywheel nothing would have happened except your engine would have idled twice as fast and probably run on when you turned it off.

I assume by mill you mean transmission, I am pulling the transmission for a few reasons.
It leaks so I figured I would change the seal before I went through the trouble of putting the bolts in.
It made some banning noises so I wanted to look to see if anything was damaged.
Also since the mechanic who installed the transmission did not bolt the torque converter to flywheel I wanted to start fresh and make sure everything else was connected properly.
I just took the transmission out, it has bolts with nuts.
