Default TCC Test point? What?

The dealer service manual makes reference to 'TCC test point in fuse block' on page 7A-16. Can anyone shed some light on which terminal that is?

I looked at your post yesterday and got my 81 book out but couldn't find a TCC test point "in" the fuse box described in the manual.
When it comes to anything that ties in with Computer Command Control things start to get hazy when your using the GM manual.
I'm not sure what your looking for but the first part of the test on 7A-16 seems to be testing the brake switch. The test in this section seems a bit generic for GM models. Would the test on 6E1-33 and 6E1-34 cover what your looking for ?
I think testing these systems when the manual was written were too complicated and confusing for most of us to understand. I believe there are easier test procedures and better explained ones to be found.

Default Best guess

I am thinking there must be a terminal or fuse in the block, but the diagrams of the fuse block in the Service Manual and Owners manual don't mention TCC.

How did the mechanics know in 1981?

I'm pretty sure but not 100% that it should have read from "TCC test point in ALDL to ground".

I read in one of the camaro web sites that they were using a jumper wire on the ECM plug for the lock up function but I forgot which terminals.

Yes. The other tests in the book use the ALDL as the test point.
Where are the guys that are familiar with testing in the 81 , I have done very little testing in the trans area. Sixfooter where are you ?

Terminal 'F' on the ALDL is your TCC test point.(Tan/Black wire) If you ground it your TCC should engage.
