C4 vette seats in C3
I was wondering if anyone had put seats from a C4 corvette into a C3.
I have got a 1977 C3 with the original seats and they are in bad shape, there also not comfortable. So my question is has anyone put the newer seats into a C3. Im also open to other ideas on differnent types of seats.

I had installed a pair of C4 seats into my 75. Took a lot to get them to fit and then they did not sit right and were very uncomfortable. The seat tracks were extremely difficult to fit the seats. But, that was my first attempt at it. I went back to C3 seats. Maybe someone else figured how to do it, but they would still be narrow and uncomfortable.

My 74 seats were like yours. I installed a set of 03 vette sport in it.
You will lose a little head room.

Ditto in my 71. I tried C5 Sports and my 6'1" frame left no head clearance at all. I tried C4 Collector Edition seats and they were not as comfortable as the late C3 seats. The late C3 seats are also MUCH lighter than the OE seats.
