a/c retro fitting

i have a 76 with the vir set up. anyone ever have issues when they retorfitted it to 134a? or did yu just buy the eliminator kit? im not sure what to do any input would help.

My conversion was not successful until I added a new crossflow condensor. I also upgraded to a Sanden compressor. A C4 blower fan improved airflow into the interior a tremendous amount too.

did you still use the vir set up? or the eliminator vir set up? how cold was it getting in the car before you changed the condensor

I dumped the VIR and put in an evaporator and a acumulator from an
'82. It was lucky to get below 60 degrees. Now it will go below 40.
