Hee hee, and I thought I was crazy to buy two Corvettes this year!
Congratulations on your find. I bought both Vettes on Craigslist....it rocks for great bargains!
1981 White Corvette
1976 Green Corvette
Congrats! What I do know is that there were 2,072 L68's built in 1969. I don't know the quantity that were built in "Tuxedo Black" which was the color that year. They did come with Saddle interior, but my Corvette Black Book doesn't say how many. 2,956 total of the 38,762 built in 69 had saddle interior.
From: Who says "Nothing is impossible" ? I've been doing nothing for years.
Congrats on the new Vette.
I for one could not imagine even for minute having more than one Vette. My plate is full fixing, tuning waxing whatever just one Vette and some of you guys have 2,3 or more I don't know where you find time to drive them let alone maintain them.
I can see if you are buying and selling to make some money but just owning more than one would kill me Then again I have the one Vette of my dreams so maybe that helps
turns out I was the first caller, he sent me data and pictures and I sent a deposit , I know I was taking a chance but the original cars( we won't consider the piant) are really getting hard to find. he said later subsequent callers pestered the hell out of him about it and offered more but a deal is a deal!
That sounds pretty cool. Congratulations. Where was it in the Metroplex?
