I spoke with him on the phone a couple of days ago, because my wife neglected to send him instructions with her carburetor . I guess she thought Lars might have ESP  . Anyway, he told me that his kids have needed the computer for their homework and such, so he hasn't been able to check email or get on the internet for a few days.

Re: Lars (Barry)
Hi Barry!
I'm here and doing fine. Yes, I had a bit of a crunch with my Vette - got T-Boned in an intersection. I made it without a scratch, but the Vette took a bit of rebuilding. The car is all back together less final paint.
Between piecing the car together, rebuilding Forum carbs, and helping my kids with their Calculus 3 college homework, I haven't had a bunch of time to tag the Forum. But I do respond to all e-mails, and try to check the Forum for topics that I can assist with on a semi-regular basis. Now I gotta get down to the garage and put together a couple of carbs...!

Actually, it's funny how many Vette guys either own a GTO or used to own one... must be a natural progression kind of thing or something!
All the Q-Jet carbs I build for our Forum members are actually test-run on a 455 GTO - it makes a good test-bed for Vette parts. I just got back from a test-run and checkout of a '74 Vette carb; it was a little tough finding some bare asphalt with all the snow we got out here, but I finally found a little traction to hook up that 500 lb/ft....
