A guy who is some kind of manager at a "Ford" Dealership near Lexington Kentucky drove 6hrs in a snow storm today to come and look at it. One look, and it was sold...gone! :sad: My Mustang/Camaro killer is gone :sad: But wait!! :D :D Still gotta feed the need for speed, so now I'll have more money for mods on the Vette :D I fell better already... now where did I put those Jegs & Summit catalogs :D

 

Good way to look at the bright side. Don't forget, that guy that bought your formula will loose equity over the next couple of years, not you though, you got a vette!!!!! :yesnod:

 

Sounds good for the Vette. Cam, heads & ex. will get you 300-350+.

Thanks. I haven't had it that long (1 month) but I've been enjoying every minute of it since I bought it. I'm doing everything I can to make it street "legal" and fast. The fun part comes standard with all C3's, but unfortunately the fast part is not there so I'm working on it. It should respond well to a rebuild, descent cam, headers, ported intake and heads, cat, and exhaust. Also, I'm going to install a 7747 chip so Ken and I can tweek the performance out with the new mods.

 

EXCELLENT(IN MY BEST MR BURNS VOICE) So where are ya gonna start...time to build a real street sweeper!!!

Alwyn: I'm going to do some homework over the next few months, and decide what intake, cam, and exhaust I want. All components will go in at the same time. The Formula was a big drain financially, so money will be available in a few months. I've haven't seen my 15yr old son cry in a long time. He did when the Formula went. Obviously he planed on being "KING" in the high school parking lot next year!!! :cry :cry :cry

before you buy shop around...let me come by and give you a taste of horsepower under a C3 hood too....you'll hear me coming into the neighborhood...the engine lope is unmistakable...I love it. :jester
