blower issues
78 corvette
on third blower in 1.5 years. what could be causing them to die?? I'm hoping the warranty is still good...actually hoping its a fuse or loose wire...any ideas?
I've also gone through two a/c compressors in a year...warrantyed both of them but napa is getting pissed...haven't installed the new one yet...

whats dieing on the blowers? Bearings or windings burning?
Probably just bad parts. Oil the bearings on the next one and make sure it spins freely before putting it together. I would use the white lithium grease. Also make sure that little black rubber hose is hooked up on the motor and not kinked, it supplies cooling air for the motor. Napa gets as many BS parts and autozone or anyonne else. No help on how to make sure its a good one or not. Making sure the motor thats in there now is bad is easy (sortof) connect a ground wire and a hot wire directly to the motor and see what it does.
