Well, I think it a shame but its your car. I hope that CE makes you just as happy if not more. Its a great car in its own right and at least we know you'll treat her right. :yesnod:
I'm sad to hear that you have sold it. It was soo nice to look at.
I hope you gave the new owner a camera and the address to us on Corvetteforum. :seeya

Re: My '70 is SOLD (Lasse)
Eric sad to hear you sold your 70. Yours is one I used to convince the wife I needed another to replace the 79. I miss my 96 sometimes, but the insurance payment I don`t miss. You will enjoy the 96. It will go anytime you want it too. Just turn the key and go.
You can change your handle to Eric 96
And I will change my handle to Eddie 70
That should make the c3-c4 forums balance shouldn`t it.
Congratulations on the sale of your 70!!! Glad you sold it to a forum member. As for the big block and LT-4 Combo, hope the pic in my signiature helps out. I had a 96 C.E., but sold it cause the #'s didn't match. Had to get me another one, they are the ultimate ride. Sad to see your 70 go, but you will get another one. You may want to reconsider the big-block though. As my 70 Lt-1 will smoke my 69 427 and my 96 LT-4. There's a lot to be said for a original LT-1    Not to mention its Multi Point Electronic Edelbrock Pro FLo.!!!!
:( I guess they have to go at some point. Hopefully I'll be able to pass my 79 down to a son/daughter rather than sell it. But if I never get married or have kids, I've got a few nieces and nephews that would fight over it.
I'm sure you'll like the 96 but you'll also miss the 70.
Congrats on selling it but..... :cry :nonod:
So, who's starting the thread were we can bet how long it is till Eric is Shark Hunting again? :jester I'll give him 2 years Tops. You did tell the new owners about the '70 registry I hope. :)
I have to wait at least till my oldest daughter goes off to College, and she's only 10yo!!!!
Who knows??? Anything could happen I guess.
I will Email you the new Owner of my '70 name and info so you can update the '70 Registry.
I will miss it alot...I already do! But I am also excited about learning about the '96 LT4 CE. Can't wait to get pictures up, and a Homepage created for it.
Me too...do you think it would be cool with everyone to keep it? It was actually a pretty cool day that I took that picture. I am in the Air Force, and we were working out of Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Florida. That was the last night of the trip and we had a big party out on the beach. Afterwards, we all went out to as many of the clubs we could find along the beach. Everywhere I went, I was given special parking places because of the Vette. I guess you would call it Rock Star treatment.
Many good memories in that '70!!!!
First of all, yes keep the avatar its just plain awesome.
Second, are you stationed at Eglin or just there temporarily? My Dad was a Captain the
Air Force a long time ago and was stationed there. Half of my family is from FWB and we
go there all the time. The town is so small that I don't often run across any that has ever
heard of it... Destin on the other hand is another story.... :yesnod:
