Wonderful this kind of stuff is still out there. I say check the #'s on the big stuff, get on the ground with an ice pick and poke the normal rust prone areas on the frame and if it passes the test, up the offer. If you can't come to terms then, walk away.
but, heck, I bought a vette off of ebay!

Re: Pics of 63 Convertible in barn (73-454)
Do you realize that after paying the $13,000.00 to $15,000.00 for this car as the woman wants, you will still need to sink another $15,000.00 to $20,000.00 into it to get it to a collector status? So now we are talking app. $30,000.00 for this car, plus who knows how much sweat and blood. I guess that is fine if you are made of money, and do not wish to sell it for a profit when you are done. Trailer Hitch, WTF ???? :nonod:

Look at the latest issue of Vette. Price guide says an unrestored car with major wear but still runs and drives fine, $13,500 -$15,000 for the lower HP 1963 convertible cars. Looks like bamavettes knows the value of the car much better than most of us . . . emotions play quite a role, even with someone else's money!!!!!
