KYB/composite spring

Whats the better option,Ive purchased KYB gr2 shocks for the front of my 81,But heard theres certain shocks that work better with the composite spring(stock).So what do I do,stick with the gr2s out back or purchase bilsteins? No shocks purchased for the rear yet. Thanks VIC...

I had the GR2 on my 71' with the plastic spring and found them to bouncy. Switched to the Bilsteins last year and it is much better.

I have 476lb. Moog coil springs in front with GR2's. In the rear I have a 355lb. VBP spring with specially vlv'd GR2's for composite springs.

The front is plenty stiff. The rear does have a little bit of bounce but it is not annoying and rides VERY well.

If I had to upgrade I would probably try a set of Bilstein HDs on the rear only. Just my .02 cents.......
