I am almost done an entire rear end redo and my shock bit the dust!
It was a napa gas shock and when I was installing it I heard a hissing sound coming out of one of them.
So now I am going to buy a good set of shocks. any ideas?
I don't want KYB's or monroe or delco's .
I have been reading posts about:
Bilstein HD ,
Bilstein Sports:
Edelbrock IAS shocks
Here are some pics of what I have been up to. on my 69 vert

Very nice. A pole barn and a lift would be perfect.
I have the Bilsteins HD's (all 4) on mine and like them very much. They give a smooth but controlled ride. My.02.
Bilstein HD's in front with Poly bushings with 550 springs and Bilstein Sports in the rear with a 360 composite spring. Love the ride, handling, and steering reponse. I have had Delcos, KYB Gas a Just and Koni's over the past 26 years!
