Loose steering column - 1976
I have pulled my steering column apart on my 76 in order to swap out the lock cylinder mechanism, and I have noticed that there is some play in the column (up and down). It's in the column itself, and I recall a thread somewhere about tightening the column bolts up in order to fix this. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or tell me how to fix this? I still have the turn signal switch partly removed, so that gives you an idea of how far torn down it is. I just reeeeeally dislike the slop in there, and would like to fix it before everything all goes back together.

Here are the instructions on tightening the four support screws in a 1976 T&T column.
