Installing speed bleeders???

I started installing bleeders and noticed I have three of them in each rear caliper. I know there is only supposed to be two. someone told me that one of them should be a plug. But which one?

I remember running into that situation too. I think I just replaced them all with speed bleeders. One of the best upgrades I did.

Bleeders at top of caliper. Plug at bottom. You can't bleed out of the bottom. Rebuilders just install bleeders in all the holes since the outer caliper halves are interchangeable side-to-side.

I always wondered which one was the bottom bleeder? You have back and front and inner on each rear caliper. I also changed all of them. I remember being accused of hitting the eggnog too much, but they are there. Mine had no plug either, but my brakes work fantastic!

Better safe than have to do it all over again. Even my Chilton book shows three. Oh well.
