Default Performer RPM intake

This should be my final combo. A 383 with a Lunati 60104 233/241 504/525 and I want to go with the Brodix Ik 200's. I know I will need to buy a Edelbrock Performer Rpm intake. My question is: Will the gas, trans kick down and cruise control cables hook up to my Qjet using the new RPM intake, as they do on my Performer now? Its a 79 Vette. What about my stock fuel line from the pump to the carb?

Edelbrock sells an adapter (as do other vendors) if you need one for your cables. You'll also need a drop base air cleaner as you won't have clearance for your stock unit with the underside of the hood.

Cables should fit & stock air cleaner will not clear hood.

If keeping the Q-Jet, get the Performer RPM Q-Jet 7104. Everything bolts on just fine. Only issue is no provision for the hot air choke so convert the carb to an electric choke. If you use a dropped base aircleaner (my favorite is the Moroso Low Profile Racing air cleaner), you can fit a 3" filter under the stock hood. Only mod is massaging the filter base a little for clearance for the accelerator pump arm. You can see where I laid a long socket under the base and gave it a few taps.

Since all the gas, trans and cruise hook up okay, what about the factory fuel line?

Carb ends up about 1" taller than stock (hence the drop base aircleaner). Stock fuel line won't fit. I made my own stock style line using Lars' instructions.
