I don't know what "take debit" means. I think it was a typo. Do you have electric fuel pump now and want a mechanical pump? Please clarify. Sorry.

The OP is from France, and the word debit exists in both french and English with various meanings in both languages depending upon application.

He might mean flow in this case. Dunno.

Well, that's clear as mud. We only speak Texan here. LOL! I had not heard it referenced that way before. Thanks for the translation. It's great Vette is understood in all languages!

Thanks again!

Not sure whether the OP intends to change from elec to mech or vise versa, but I think he means that he doesn't know what all to take into account.

selfmoi, Avez-vous l'intention de changer pour une pompe électrique, ou à une pompe mécanique?

Please excuse the grammar and spelling, it's rare that I write in french these days.

Une pompe mécanique sera assez grande pour n'importe quelle 'big block' jusqu'à 600HP, peut être plus. Il y'a aucune raison de mettre une électrique. Si tu est vraiment déterminer d'avoir une électrique, le 170l/hr serait assez grand. Faire attention au pression au sorti, les Holly ne peu pas acceptez plus que 6-7 psi. J'espère que sa t'aide une peu.

My French courses ended in High School but I think my answer (if I understand the question) is that you don't need an electric fuel pump for your big block. A mechanical fuel pump can handle alot of horsepower.

Electric fuel pump avec big block ne necessaire pas.

I bet Mike said something similar with alot better understanding of French

Parlez vous Francais? Not very well

we'd like to change it because I like to change the hoses (very old) In fact we find that it is very close to the ESC, we think it can be dangerous, once an electric pump that will put Furthermore, speed and a more regular and more powerful as me said a specialist in our race, "Oreca" It puts the viper in 24 hours of Le Mans
