Default Hooker S/C header resolved

If you recall I was having an issue with clearance on my headers. Motor mounts, dings and one bend later I have them intalled - spanned a few weekends but worth it in the end.

These are the Hooker Super comp headers and pipes with glasspacks - nice rumble at idle, full throttle has a very mean sound....I am glad I went with the glasspacks. I had spend hours going through old posts here.

Can anyone tell me how long these last before some of the fiberglass melts out and the get louder? I hear it depends on the driving, but on average.

Too many factors involved , Region you live in , climate , do they salt the roads? There is another forum reader in the last day or so that was asking how to get his rusted ones out of his Hooker headers , you should contact him , he would probably be able to give you a good time line to follow.
Buy the way , ( just my thoughts ) you should have continued and ended your last thread request and let the readers that were trying to help you out there know how you were able to get them on . This would help out anybody who may have a problem in the future like you had.
Good Luck,
