Default Engine Harness Wire Location

Unhooked the electrical portion of a body off restoration on 72 small block some time ago. Where the engine harness hooks into the fuse panel location on the driver side, there is one large wire approximately 1.5 feet in length that needs to be hooked up. I do not know where the wire is suppose to be connected to, however the other end I do know connects to the starter.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

1)What color is the wire (may or may not be original)?
2)What type of distributor do you have? The original points or has it be upgraded to HEI?
Any chance of a photo?

Hi d,
That large gauge wire goes to a terminal on the horn relay attached to the driverside inner skirt.
Regards,
Alan

Seen the wire going to the horn relay in the parts diagram as you noted. Thanks for the help on this problem.
