Im doing a resto-mod on my C3 and i wish to get advice on which of the Supension kits available come highly recommended or if you have a modern suspension kit on your C3 that gives you a great ride while cruising and good handling then i want to hear from you.
Other things im interested are how much should i expect to pay and which kits have gotten highest customer ratings. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
PD: Does anyone know if the rally wheels in bigger size (17,18,19) are available?
Thanks

Reason: Mispelled
There is no one size fits all suspension kit. Different kits are designed to do different things. It's all about the end user and what you want out of the car. If you just want a cruiser than your options are much different than someone who wants more of a performance set up.
Spring rates and sway bar sizes will have different effects as well as shocks.
For front end parts, you get what you pay for. I highly recommend using Moog front end parts but you'll pay a lot more than the average kit cost.
Give me a call or check out my site. I'll be glad to help you out. www.vansteel.com

The first thing I'd do after getting a really, really good idea of exactly what you want to accomplish (it's worth noting here that the terms "cruise" and "great handling" tend more often than not to reside on opposite ends of the comfort vs. performance spectrum in C3 land), would be to set a budget so you can prioritize in what order to approach things. Then, figure on spending about twice as much due to those budget blowing "while-I'm-at-it's". And, don't expect any upgrades, mods or kits to overcome the effects of any worn components left unaddressed. There's a fair amount to this suspension stuff, but if you take the time to do a little homework before you start spending money you'll be more likely to end up being satisfied with the results.
FWIW, I think you can get rally style wheels in 18".
Van Steel has some pretty nice kits, as does Speed Direct. Vette Brakes & Performance also has a good range of kits. All three are forum sponsors, so here are their direct links:

Thank you much for the input. Much appreciated. Going to 18's could help me address both.
