I wanted to go this route bad after I saw it and read a couple threads in here about it. Thier website says on the main page a couple times that you "use your factory intake" or "no intake change required" something like that, but thats not true at all and after adding up ALL the cost I got a new holley for $399. But I am excited for you! lol , From what all I read about it I think you will love it! My 2k is going into my interior instead but document your conversion on here with pics because I bet I end up with that set-up on one of my chevys someday! Good luck!
I'm sure your aware but if not, Bluesman on here is a great source of info on this system, check his threads if you not already..

What do you mean "that's not true AT ALL"?
Wow, that's bold statement. Out of almost 500 systems in 6 months I haven't heard of that. We are up to shipping 100 a month now for the last 2 months, I would have thought I would have been notified if we were making false accusations. I know it is the exact mounting, geometry, and linkage as a standard Holley carb. I've seen them installed on spreadbore setups, with the adaptor everyone uses when switching to a squarebore carb. Now, if your current manifold is a tri power or somethinig exotic like that, I would think it would be self explanitory you will need something else just by looking at the pictures of what the product is.

What problems are you having with your present setup that are 'steering' you toward the EFI system? Is it strictly fuel mileage? Can you not get it to idle well or run correctly? Most folks would 'die' for the tri-power setup on thier BB. Just curious....

well i like the idea of being able to reach in hit the key and have it idle perfect all the time. I like that the a/f will be right on all the time. BUT MOSTLY im not listening to fast and I will be throwing nitrous to this combo..... I like the idea that the A/F will be right on when im spraying it. My tri-power runs great for the most part and if i had a manual or was not going to spray it i would keep it but it has been changed to a manual linkage which was never a problem with the stick and really is not a problem with the auto but does have that little hickup/hessatation when you hit the 6 pack that cann't be there when im spraying. unless i want to kill the tri-power and hood i could have switched it back to vac secondaries but i don't want that on spray either. plus i really like the idea of EFI
sorry about the music on that video
i had my car at their dyno day and the import guys were busting my ***** since i shucked a few teeth off the flex plate so i said i race any one of the 500whp honda's.... My car made 404WHP and calvins honda made 497whp

Ok its true I guess if you want to use adaptors. Sorry about that. But they BOLDLY made me think it would go right on my car.. I dont like adaptors with carbs so I would not want one with that system either. Its cool as hell though! It would go right on my 400sb in my 66 Nova!
I'm not a big fan of adaptors either and it does subtract from your limited hood clearance, too. The only issue with a product as versitle as this is there are a couple of things you have to live with and we just had to choose a mounting flange style that would cover the highest percentage type of deal.
