Door Handles
Hello,
I've just taken the driver's side outer door handle out of my '69 and am hanving trouble getting the new one in. I've had everything out of this door and and worked on it before, but I'm struggling with getting the linkage into the door handle now. Are there any tips or tricks? Also, and not nearly as important, the same door's window is too far forward up top and too far backward on bottom (maybe an inch off). I tried making adjustments on the rear track of the window and could not see any difference at all.

Hi Adam,
I hate to bring it up again because I remember your sentiments about the AIM, BUT there is a page UPC 1, Sheet K11 (coupe) or Sheet K13 (convertible), that has a procedure for adjusting the window up/down, forward/backword, and tipping it in/out. Have you looked there?

Hi Adam,
When I come back tomorrow I'll scan mine if someone hasn't posted the sheet by then. Perhaps Mr. WILLCOX will see this and post the sheet for you.
It's really pretty baffling with out the guidance of that sheet.
