I want to replace just the spark plug wires, keeping my original stainless sheaths. I'm having problems finding a set with the 90 degree angled boots at the distributor. Does anybody have a lead on these?
All the make-your-own wires I've found around here were 8mm or bigger, won't fit in the sheaths. I found a set of 7mm pertronix that might work.. also some impala 409 wires may work too.
Just do a "Google" search for the original type & size of ignition wire. I'd bet you can order it by the foot [total up what you need and cut it to correct lengths yourself] and probably order the connectors you need too.

Maybe I'm missing the point but why not buy some repro bbc Corvette wires and switch the sheaths?

I have a set of AC Delco wires with the stainless sleeves I used on my BB. Used them once to fire the engine after rebuild. I don't plan to use them & was about to put them up for sale.
I really want to use the old sheaths without buying a new set and pitching the new sheaths, the wires for a no radio car don't have the 90 degree dist boots. I think I'll just go with the pertronix 708180 wire kit. New technology and all.. a little high, but should last a long while. Thanks for the input guys.
