Default 1978 clock question

thanks for reading ....do u know the correct way to remove the clock in a 78 and if u take out the allen screws what size r they ....not sure if i need to remove the whole cover or just the clock allen screws ,thank u very much.

Those allen screws are plastic fake screws. You have to remove the whole gauge cluster, then remove the clock from the back side.

The center cluster has to come out of the car to remove the clock.

You'll need to remove the shift console side panels, the side screws in the bezel, and the lower screws (hard to reach) that hold the center console to the shift plate. When you remove the center console from the dash, you need to be careful not to break the lamp mounted on top and do not let the lamp tear on the dash pad too.
