78 body mounts

78 body mounts
I am installing poly body mounts on my 78 and cant figure out how the rear mounts go in? The body mounts I havecome in 2 pieces and slip together with the body in between but the mount holes in the rear are not large enough to accomodate this? Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Here are the pics... I had to do a little more than just install the poly mount, but you can see in the final pic how it all went together.
