Default New Carpet

I'm getting ready to put new carpet in my '73. I just finished putting in Dynamat and was wondering, does the carpet get glued down or does it just sit on top of the Dynamat? If it does get glued, what to use? Spray glue, contact cement?

Try using 3M spray adhesive, available at most auto parts supply. Just be very careful when you sray in the car.

I just installed carpet in my 76 and the only area I had to glue was the very back wall. The carpet seemed to lay down fine, even over the tire humps in the back. Oh yeah, I also had to glue the carpet to the compartment doors behind the seats in the back.
Good Luck,
Bill
