Killer Lights
Chris at mcspeed.com has made a posting on digital corvettes indicating that he will sell the brackets, bushings and stops for his Killer Light conversion for C-3 Corvettes for $35.00. This is the system that converts your vacuum headlight doors to electric. The concept is wonderful; I have a set on my 73 and the light door snap open just like a C-5. Anyhow, he will sell the brackets as indicated if he gets 10 takers by the weekend; there are now four takers. If you were ever thinking about this conversion, now is the time. You will still have to locate the motors, the module and the switch but the bracket at mcspeed.com is normally $100.00. His email is:
chrisnikki@wildblue.net This is a good price. It does not include the bolts but everyone has a box of bolts. You can see the system at mcspeed.com.

No - the kit is all the brackets, spacers, and bolts.
He's blowing out the kits minus bolts (Home Depot)

Thanks for a great offer Chris.
Happen to know the weight difference, if any, between this and OEM when done?

I hope this vacuum less system will eliminate my headlights popping up at WOT at 135mph.
