I have a Holly 650 spread bore double pumper #6210-2 and she has a bog when I try and open up the secondaries.
I purchased it from a second owner and was wondering if anyone knows what size the original jets? I opened her up and she had 59 size jets in the secondaries.
Off the line bog is a product of squirter size pump shot. You jet up or down for wide open throttle mph on the top end. This has been my rule of thumb, and never been wrong. Keep increasing squirter till it blows black out the back on launch, then go down 2 sizes.
I agree with above comment. We would go down till it back fired through the carb and them brought the squiter size up one point. We would stagger the primary to the secondary two points eg. 78 - 80. We would also use a vacuum gauge to match the power valve. Lots on info on the Holley site, have a look and see if it works for you.
