Default Wow...does it handle great

Just got my 82 back from the shop. I had the whole suspension rebuilt. You name it....it was done. Before this work the handling was very sloppy and was as if a drunk driver was behind the wheel.

In addition the whole new suspension I also had the body mounts done. Driving it is a joy now. :)

I know what you mean. I did the complete frame off resto on mine and it drives like a new car now. Couldn't be happier. See, these cars are a joy to drive, it's just that some of them need to be brought back to their former glory. Replace a few 25 year old worn out parts and you're good to go. :D Now if the summer season would just get here.

Thats a tricky question.....I had ALOT of other things done to it besides the front end work. The body mounts were shot...as were the frame supports. So all of the rot had to be cut out and welded new pieces in....just this work alone required about 45 hours. We ( the shop) took no short cuts in repairing this vehicle. Everything was done right.

I also had the whole exhaust replaced...hi flow cat, flowmaster 50s, new pipes all welded in. New shocks...Bilstien. Replaced all of the power steering...control valve, slave cylinder, hoses etc.

All Ball joints, control arm bushings, stabilizer links, idler arm, tie rod ends, tie rod sleevs,, front coil springs(VB), rear spring (TRW), and all associated hardware, trailing arms rebuilt, radiator replaced, complete rear end assembly rebuild, 1/2 shaft u joints, and so on. This was a BIG job.

Ron is a really nice guy. Every time I stopped in I added new stuff to the list to be done. He would just shake his head and and smile. he warned me several times about spening the $$...but in the end it was all worth it.

Do you have a phone number for them?
Or a Web address? I did a quick search but didn't find anything.

Thanks
Pat
