What do I look for if I want to install one?
I see gauges priced from $40 up past $200.
Do I want a wide band?
Since I am installing a new exhuast system and I welded in a bung on each pipe about 7"s from the manifold I figured I would look into one.
My friend has a meter that I can borrow to tune the carb so I don't really need one but if the gauge would be just as good for what I am doing would it work ok?
Just thinking about it.

I like the Edelbrock colored LED's - easy to read.
Just my personal op here is that no carburetor can adjust for changes in air density (ambient temp and barromitirc pressure). So a fine tune with a wide band A/F meter will be tempoary at best. Narrow band should get u close enough for any carbs accuracy.
BTW i have the Edelbrock LED meter sitting in box on my "to do" list.
