What exactly about the FAST system sucks in your opinion? I have one that runs perfect on my car. Just curious.

I'd like to know as well. Been running the EZ EFI for almost a year, and I'm very happy with it

ohhh, let me remember...

I believe the first issue was getting a clean tach signal to it.. Had to run a CD box, could not use a points style or ready to run style ignition. There was not enough tuneability with the hand held control.
Big a** wire harness
Ugly throttle body
No support for boost or NOS
THEY COPIED US! - The tech told me over the phone. Straight from his mouth. He didn't know who he was talking to.

I ran across this saga doing some research, I don't quite understand the final solution this guy found recently.

Default Wow, I'm in awe.....

After watching the guy over at V8Buick struggle for a year to have his car run more than a week or 2 with a PJ3 I had felt pretty lucky that I went with the EZ-EFI system instead.

Your chest pounding professionalism makes me wonder if I made the right decision now though......

BTW there is pretty much NO WAY you make more peak HP with these glorified throttle body FI setups over a properly tuned carb. The big ol' fat droplets coming out of the huge injectors affects your efficiency from the get go.

I'm not saying the Fast is any better than the PJ but a little humility and professionalism on your part would go a long way for your credibility in my book.

Thanx

I was the guy that c5_droptop would have talked to. Everything except for the electronics was made in china and assembled in California by me or a guy named Bryce. Yup thats right two guys ran the whole show. This EFI will out perform ANY other EFI or carb out there period. Challenge me, I dare you, I'll make 15 more horse than you too. Go to the RetroTek website and look at the customers cars... NA motors making 700hp and boosted cars (up to 25lbs) easily making 900+. The FAST system sucks to say the least. I tried one. I blew the head of one of their "techs" up when I tried to get help and asked legit questions.

I do not work for them any longer, I quit 10/7/10, but I take pride in what I do and will not let people badmouth something I put blood and sweat into...

Don't take this the wrong way buuuuuuuuut....

Ha! I don't have to be professional. I don't represent anyone.

"The big ol' fat droplets coming out of the huge injectors affects your efficiency from the get go"

Yeah? Maybe that happens with your EFI, but I run mine at 45 PSI and you cant get anymore atomized than that.

I honestly don't care if I am credible in your book but ask the people that have talked to me and I'm sure you'll find that I know what I'm talking about and I'm somewhat human. hahaha

Just read (another forum) about a few C3's running the P III install with no issues and very happy with the setup. It is great to have choices.
