1975 Headers?
I have a 75 (l-48 for now will probably be a 383 crate eventually).
Have the stock exhaust from the block back right now. Its gotta go!
I need advice on what headers and i dont want to spend a million bucks on them but something decent I can also use later.
Also considering the pypes exhaust. For the money it seems like a good deal. Unless someone else can suggest a DIY bolt on kit that might be better.
Header installation ? Will they slide right in or do you have to crank up the motor off the mounts?

I have never had a set of headers "slide right in". I even had to disconnect the mounts on a 1967,6 cyl, ford truck for header installation once, lol. Sometimes, its easier AND manditory to go thru the bottom and up to squeeze them in.Not sure about yours. Oh, get long tube headers for the tourque.

Cerma-Coat Jegs book no. 289-86008 did not give a result.
Std. 289-85008 was shown.
Angle up in the larger part of reducer & ground clearance is not an issue.

Guys at jegs said these will work and also will fit an angled plug head that i may end up putting on later (crate motor)

The Dynomax work w/ angled plugs.
Jegs lists Hedman Elite SB 61308 though I have not seen them. Hooker has other headers.
I like the Dynomax full length & Hooker Super Comps better esp. for 383.
