Rotor rivets - One more time
I know this has been talked about several times before, but I'm missing something. On the rear, do you need to remove the spindle assembly or can you remove the rivets on-car. I don't like to think of pounding away at rivets on vehicle, but it would seem removing the entire assembly would be a pain.

Yes, special tools needed to pull spindles. You can just drill the top of the rivets with a electric drill. After you get most of the head of the rivet off, take a center punch or drift pin of some kind (old phillips screwdriver :D ) and knock them through with a hammer. Then remove the calipers if you don't have them off already.
