The resistor on the back of the gauge is a 90 ohm resistor.
I'm not sure what the value of the napa kit is, but what I am sure of is 90 ohms resistance is what you need.
You can buy this at radio shack solder two ends on it for about 1.00.

I agree with the Radio Shack idea. You may have to pick up a few of different values so you can get as close as you can if they do not have a 90 ohm resistor.
