Hood problem

Hood problem
How do you open a hood that will not open when you pull the handle?? Only one side is releasin, the passenger side...grrr

try pushing the hood release as far in as you can thenm have some one LIGHTLY push down on the driver side where the latch is and try pulling the release. my hood had some problems too, its quite a mission to figure out the right combination to open your hood lol. i sprayed a ton of wd40 on the linkage and it worked like a champ after that.

was working fine. Removed hood and it was closed misaligned. I thought i saw a pic on here that showed how to get to the release.

Have someone pull on the hood in the direction of better alignment then pull the release.

Push pass. side back to lock & pull release quickly.
There are 2 plugs (1 per side) in the wiper valley, push them out to get to hood latches.

Hood fixed. Removed tire and using vise grips, backed off hood hinge bolts from under fender well. Thanks for all the info!

Does anyone have a diagram for where the hood release cable passes through the firewall? I'm still trying to get my hood open, but I was wondering if anyone had this info. Thanks.
