Default Assembly manual......for engine

Hello,

For me which am not a very good mechanic, ASSEMBLY MANUAL is an essential document to restore my Vette. It gives me indications of the parts, where it are located but also the parts numbers GM.

A disadvantage, any information on the engine !

Who can say me which book or documentation I can buy for, like the assembly manual, to have the description of the parts, the position or the assembly but also the parts numbers GM.

I seek that for my big block 454 LS4 of 1973

THANK'S

Charly

If you can locate one, the original Chevrolet Chassis Overhaul Manual for 1973 would be ideal. It shows how to overhaul the engines, transmissions, differentials and brakes on your car.

Thank's 7T1vette but I have the service manual and the overhaul manual of 1973.
I seek in more one book which gives me the GM parts numbers (like the assembly manual) and which gives the drawing of the various assemblies (if that exists of course)

I am unfamiliar with a repair manual that provides the detailed part numbers. So I will follow this thread to learn something new....

Most of the problems you are going to experience with your car are problems that many people here have experienced before with their cars! So...just ask.
