Excellent! That is an awesome machine you have *wipes the drool from his face*.

I need to ask you two favors if you don't mind. I also have a '76 Corvette and am about half a month away from dropping a 454 big block into it. I noticed you have power brakes with Moroso valve covers, how much room do you have between the power brake booster and the valve cover? Is the valve cover hard to take out? Is the rear portion of that valve cover dented to allow additional clearance for the booster?

I was wondering if you could take a better picture of your alternator setup? Your bracket looks exactly the same as what I have, but I'm unsure of how they go...maybe a picture of your setup could better help me.

Thanks for any help you can provide and you have a nice looking 'Vette. I bet you're loving that torque of the big block!

Bence,

Thanks for the reply, I'll work on fullfilling your request, I won't get to go visit the Vette untill Thursday. When I do I'll take a closer look at the valve covers and the brake booster. BTW I do love the power and torque of the BB, but I've only gotten to experience it once since getting the car less then a week ago due to brake problems. It looks like our rear calipers are leaking like crazy, my brother ordered new ones Monday, so hopefully that will clear up the break problems and I'll be able to unjoy some American power :D. I'll bw sure to give you a heads up Thurday.

No problem. :)

I've been trying to get them down to a smaller file size but can't seem to do it without making the pic too small. I'll e-mail them if I get it fixed.

Bence,

I looked at the valve covers today and there is about 2cm between the valve cover and the brake booster. I didn't try to take the covers off, but it looks like it would be a pain to do on the driver's side. I don't think you'd have to take the brake booster off, and the valve cover isn't dented. Hopefully this is what you're looking for.

HGlide82,

Nice pics of your '76 BB!!!!

I just can't get over how huge these BB's are! They look awesome sitting in that engine compartment! I am also anxious to get my BB in one day..... Are you running headers on this motor?

Bob

Nice car ! - :D :D :D

Is that a Z/28 intake on there ??? - as in the 302 - GM original ?
....only thing I'd change is the upper radiator hose - I've got one
of those stupid accordian types on my '68 too (restricts flow) :(

Good color, too ! :yesnod:
