Side window alignment
Does anyone know of a website that gives an understandable procedure to align the side window glass? I have seen one before, but it was several months ago.
I tried using the one from my Haynes manual, but only made things worse. They show two pictures of the adjustment bolts, but don't refer to which adjustment point coincide with the several proceedures listed.

Perhaps these instructions will help. They may be the same as Haynes, however. Be patient: the pic is unreduced.

I am not sure about your 79, but my 72 GM Service Manual gives a very clear and easily understood adjustment procedure for side glass. Do you happen to own the 79 GM Service Manual?
