Default help with cast number??

I was wondering if someone could check a cast number for me. Its a head number I found when I removed my valve covers(to remove the intake).

The number is 1401441

There is a crazy history behind my car's motor, and I only know bits and peices, but I know its pretty involved...Knowing what kind of heads I have might help solve the problem.

By the way, the intake came off smoothly, everything looked clean, no build up of any sort, just a smooth layer of dark stuff :).

Daniel
PS. Where do I find my engine block cast number? I looked everywhere.

14014416...80-86...305..........1.84"/1.5" valves, 58cc chambers
did you forget a number thats the closest i could come up with or a 14014415 too14014415...80-85...267/305
your casting number for the block should be on drivers side behind the head.

Your intake is from a 76-82 305 or 350, used on all cars.
You need to find your block casting code, something like 3970010 (350) or 14010202 (305).
Also check the stamp pad on the pass side, below the front of the valve cover.

thats where I found my numbers...actually mine is just like that...apprently thise can be more then just 302? according the site I found its 302..but someone said it can be anything...but my heads are 305, and my intake was used on 302/350....

I told my dad and he said "No wonder it didn't feel like a 350"...so maybe it is a 302, or a underpower 350(compared to the stock 350 that was in the car when my dad got it, before he put in a 400, which was before this block was put in)..
