I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 68, and wandering if anyone knows what the front coil spring height (out of the car) for the f41 front suspension should be. I'd like to keep them if they are still within spec, but I can't find an unsprung height anywhere.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Sorry, I can't give you a free length, and hate to bring it up at this late point, but I'm guessing this means you didn't check your "Z" (or "D") heights against the AIM specs for your vehicle before disassembly.
If you want to mock it back up so you can check, I don't seem to have a full set of '68 vehicle height spec sheets, but I'm sure someone here will have the correct specs for it if I don't.
Wish I had better news.
edit - I checked and do have one set of good un-clipped coils that might well be F41's, and they are ~12.125" end to end, overall, but can't promise if that's good info or not. Maybe someone else with a good known set of them can get you a measurement...

Thanks for the try Skunk. I didn't bother to measure any distances because it was already bubba'd (poorly) by the previous owner. It had a REALLY bad jerkyness?(is that a word) on uneven pavement, so I just decided to redo the whole thing, and then have it professionally aligned.
Hell it still had the original 68 dated shocks in it.
Mine measure out at 12 3/8" eyeballed with a tape measure
