big inch small block builder please!!!
Hello, I would like to build a big inch sbc. Can someone give me a recomendation on who to call. I have done some research on the forum and have an idea of who to stay away from. I would like to do a SHP block with all the right parts. I saw a resent post about an SHP build from Blockman but i didnt want to hijack his thread. Most of the guys I know around here are behind the times and havent done many of this type builds. thanks

I had a 427 small block and moved up to a 434. IMO - C-Inches rule. So a smarter person would buy a 4.125 crank and build a 441 or 447 ci small block

Their small short blocks go up to 454. They also do LS stuff as well.

I used the same place Lars. Dynoflo is one of our distributors for our camshafts and valvetrain. They hooked me up with a 434 shortblock (SHP block) and shipped it to me. I've ran it over a year now on the street and the track without any issues at all. They were good guys to deal with.
