81 block i.d.
Looking at 81 vette.Block casting #3970010.#on deck is K11 04 TAX.Or is it KII instead of K11 ?Is it the oe block?

Assuming I reading the book correctly, according to the "Corvette Authentic Restoration Guide" 1968-1982 by Richard Prince, a 1981 should have a block casting of 14010207. 3970010 was used from 1970-80. Hope that helps.
