Default Wiring Questions Choke/e-fan

I need to wire up my electric fan this week. I know i can tap the ign + to the wiper yellow and the rest to the alternator I assume. However I don't think the electric choke was ever hooked up on this car. At least I can't find the wire. (did a 75 have an electric choke? if so what color is the wire).

So anyway assuming there is no electric choke wire. Would it be better to run a wire from the ACCY tap on the fuse box to a terminal block (radio shack or something like that) that i could mount on the fire wall? Would make it cleaner and easier to disconnect anything that way. And would an electric fan and choke on the same circuit draw too much?
