Default A different headlight question

I"m redoing my headlight system. Removed actuators, replaced seals, re-installed actuators. Didn't realize there were LH an RH. Are they marked in a place visible after installation? Can they be installed in the wrong side? Once I got them to the mounts they actually went in pretty easy. I really don't want to take them out if I can help it. Thanks!

The only thing I can think of that would make one different from the other is the engine side vaccum connection. They should turn toward the fenders (away from each other) but I don't see why it would matter in terms of operation. If I had put mine in backwards and they worked, there is little chance I would take the time to switch them around.

Hey thanks! I finally realized it when I began looking at how the vacuum lines would hook up. I'm putting in all new ones. The green lines with the kit seem too short. Looks like I'm gonna pull them and switch them back. One step forward and two steps back.

Depending on the year sometimes the nipples will hit the hood if installed in the wrong direction.
