"green to coil -

the wiring for the espark is correct but what does "i started but not much diff noticed" mean? None of this has anything to do with the MSD box and you dont mention how you wired the box.
I wired it with the espark green wire to msd boxes white and wired everything else like msd says but I had to leave the black off the coil. This must just be a ground now. So the orange went to the coil and the green and white wires go to the coil the black was left off for now and taped up.

The boxes neg and pos HAVE to go directly to the battery, if you do not do this you will have one ore more of the following problems.
1. runs like pooooo
2. will break and leave you stranded in BFE
2. will cause RF noise to the extent you will consider a radio delete plate.
Also, unless you are revving over 6k rpm, and running rich, you will se NO difference in it... other than the "bling" effect... I know this because I have one....I like the rev limiter the best,,,,, if it were not for that I would even possibly remove it and burn it for the car gods....
good luck.... I would say that your MSD journey has just began,,,, p:-)
