Yes, for 1978 they are different. The half-shafts are larger. Here are the numbers for Spicer replacements.
PS-Those are Canadian dollars. Multiply by about 0.62 to get US$.

NO!! the half shaft joints are the big ones. USE spicer or NAPA ones for the half shafts.. Discount cheapies wil last only a few weeks.
