Inside Dimming lights

I have a problem. My insides lights that dim like the speedo and tac wont work. The headlights come on and off and the bright light for the headlights work fine. All the back lights dont work thought. Any ideas?

Sounds like you've got a blown instrument lamp fuse.
Have you done any work in the dash or console lately? Could have shorted it somehow.

I have had the entire dash out and now replaced. I checked the inst fuse under the dash and it checked out fine. Is there another one besides that one? I also replaced the headlight switch in hopes that would fix it. This about to drive me crazy

Make sure you have power at both sides of the fuse. Sometimes those fuse contacts get rusty and the fuse can be good but just not getting contact at the terminal, and do an ohms test of the fuse itself to make sure it is good. Sometimes they look good but have a break at the very end. Then trace your power from there.
