Default has anybody done this??
My Dad is wanting to know if a t5 out of a camaro/bird will fit in his 79 vette, also will the shift tower line up with his console?

People have done this, but I wouldn't recommend a T5 behind a 350. The 350 will tare that tranny up as soon as you mash the peddle to the floor. You should go with a TKO500 transmission if you want a 5spd.

It will fit, but keep in mind there was a REASON why GM didn't offer the T5 vith the 350.
